The Reforesting Scotland exhibition
The Reforesting Scotland exhibition
celebrates a selection of its major achievements to date, and looks forward to the future as Reforesting
Scotland engages in diverse contemporary issues, from sustainable living and affordable rural housing to climate change. The exhibition consists of twelve attractive and informative panels and is available now for loan to suitable venues, including local museums, libraries, community centres or other public spaces.
Each of the panels deals with a different issue where Reforesting Scotland has built up experience: including community woodlands, woodland access, wild woodland products, and buildings in the forest. They consist of large colourful images, text and quotations from our supporters or other prominent people. They highlight the many important successes that have been achieved in recent years and also point to the challenges that will face us all in future. Between them they reflect what Reforesting Scotland has become; a dynamic and creative organisation prepared to take a lead on major environmental issues, and to adapt to a changing world.
The 12 panels are A0 size (84cm x 117cm). The whole exhibition requires a minimum space of about 20 - 25 sq m. It can
be mounted directly on a wall (minimum wall length 12 m) or can be displayed as a free-standing exhibition mounted on custom-made triangular stands. Additional material, including examples of Scottish woodland products, may also be available.
Copies of RS journals and leaflets accompany the exhibition.
